OK, OK! I know I've been slacking.. But to my defense, I'm in the middle of my last semester of school (EVER) and I'm working 25 hours/week.. oh yes, and job searching!
I'm still working at Victoria's Secret on the weekends. It's really great and pretty laid back. Not to mention I get really great discounts! Last week I officially started my employment with the UT Canaday Center in the library doing the website design/development for one of their rare books collections. It's already a LOT of work, but totally worth it. I can't wait to have it finished and use it as a portfolio piece!
I'm also in the middle of my thesis project to graduate with honors. It's a website gallery of student/faculty work at UT. This should also end up as a great piece of work for my portfolio. I feel like I'm always working on something!!
And honestly in the middle of all this chaos, I just wish I could better enjoy my last semester of college.. I'm SO over school and busywork!!
Lets see what else is new..?
I'm working on a project for my Independent Study. It's kind of like digital drawing/painting and is going to represent a portrait of someone that we took. I'll post updates as I begin to complete good chunks of the work.
Other than that I don't have much else to share. Oh ya, Matt and I got a dog, Annie, from the Toledo Shelter. She's great! So playful and SO energetic. She is obsessed with the snow, and her favorite activity is to sit on my bed, which rests against the window, and watch the squirrels/people outside. The other day she was in their more than 30min. by herself doing just that..
