So, maybe I'm a little overdue for a post on here..
Thanksgiving last week was great! I was home from Tuesday night (went home a day early with Lauren so as to surprise Mom) and didn't get back in Toledo until Sunday night at 10. Got some good relaxing time in during those few days, but Sunday was back to school work (ugh!).
I started by working on my women's gender studies presentation for about 2 hours, then switched over to working on the Mousepad design for my dad's company for about another hour and a half. Took a little break for dinner, then shot about 70 photos over a 2 hour time span for Digital Photo.. Immediately after I headed back to Toledo, only to work on my photography paper for another hour and a half. Oh ya, and did I mention that I also did a bit of work on my Hist. of Photography website?
In all honesty, I'm completely over school right now. I'm ready to graduate and move on to a real life and a real job. I know I'll probably kick myself in six months for saying that, but oh well... that's how I feel! I'd much rather spend all my time teaching myself and reading up on website design, photography, and freelance work. But alas, I have 15 more credit hours to take in order to graduate..
On another note, I officially started working at Victoria's Secret yesterday. I went in for about 2 hours for orientation and to fill out all the paperwork. I go in again tomorrow from 6:30-10:30pm for a 'shadow shift' to get a handle on things. I'm excited to work there, and really really excited to have an income again! Maybe you're wondering about the job at Forever 21.. Well, long story short, I was scheduled only 3 hours the entire Black Friday weekend... And Victoria's Secret offered me a position.. Enough said? =)
Being at the mall around Christmas time is the best.. and although I really could care less about hearing christmas music 24/7, I absolutely love being around all the seasonal decorations, smell, and atmosphere. I've finished almost all of my christmas shopping, now it's just a matter of waiting until Christmas break (and the end of this semester)!!!
